Development & Care

Our Philosophy

Our mission is to build a strong, interconnected community of church planters who are both supported and empowered through relationships. We don’t just provide resources for individual church planters, but instead we cultivate a deeply interconnected community where planters are supported and strengthened through shared life and resources.

We believe that true growth happens when we come together as a collective. Every planter in our community is an essential part of the whole, with something significant and unique to offer. In return, each planter gains from the shared wisdom, experience, and support of the entire community.

At the heart of our approach are three core pillars: coaching, training, and cohorts—designed to enrich both the individual and the group. We focus on shifting from "ME" to "WE," ensuring no planter or spouse ever feels isolated. Instead, they’re surrounded by a network of people who genuinely care, relate to their journey, and are ready to help.As we nurture our community, we grow together—supporting both the flourishing of individual planters and their church plants.

Coaching

Coaching provides a critical avenue for the development and care of our planters. Our approach to coaching includes both strategic leadership and soul care. A coach supplies a safe place for a planter to be vulnerable and process all aspects of the planting experience while also creating a pathway for productivity and accountability. Our coaches meet with planters bi-monthly.

Cohorts

Cohorts offer planters a trusted group of peers with whom to wrestle with possibilities and practice leadership. They are formative, not primarily instructive. Cohorts serve to deepen bonds among our planters and deepen our collective understanding of the nuances and ministry opportunities in planting. Accordingly, cohorts are a place of both innovation and relation. Our cohorts meet monthly.

Training

Training is a large group avenue for planter development that provides both encouragement and guidance. The word “training” is intentional, because we aim for this time to stretch our planters and introduce them to proven ministry practices and wisdom. Much of training takes on a “seminar” approach, where planters and other ministry leaders share and then provide questions to promote engagement and fruitful discussion. We host training twice a year (January and July).
